Today, teaching a good friend how to crochet. I chose the yarn for her 'cause it was a bit thicker and I knew she would love the colour.
And the obsession with painting everything continues...
the Mr is looking mighty nervous whenever he spies me with a paint brush.
I am experimenting with my photos. The backdrop is the back of one of the doors I took off during my kitchen DIY. More ways I am using the old cabinets to come!

"Whiting" things gives them a lovely new lease of life. Beautiful yarn. I love that teal colour.
ReplyDeleteooh and i like the term 'whiting'. Am considering 'golding' the crocodile from post earlier this week. This lamp will be a beauty!
ReplyDeleteI just had a good friend come over to my place on Monday to teach me how to Crochet, I made the cake and the children played around us while we sipped tea, ate cake and crocheted our little hearts out, it was such a fun morning, I hope your lessons went well too... :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband says I 'folk things up' regularly, but ah, the thrill of paint! We have a big dark timber sideboard thing that I'd LOVE to paint white - alas, it was a wedding gift from his family... so I may be waiting some time...
ReplyDeleteKeep painting I say!
I love giving things transformations with beautiful coloured paint. I haven't done it for so long.....too long. mmmm....now what could I paint??? x
ReplyDeleteI love the way you keep your husband on his toes..lol!
ReplyDeleteLovely coloured wool... First glace I thought it was green, but on closer inspection I am sure it is blue.
ReplyDeleteI can see paint will become my new best friend, as house will need a good freshen up. Whiten to brighten.
ReplyDeleteI reckon you get a look in your eye. I reckon this, because that's what happens to me when I get a little...er...excited about things. Enjoy the whiting!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour you've chosen for your friend
