Creative Space:Growing Hexies

It is good to have a bit of routine back, the little Miss actually got to school on time this morning...

A rainy day here in Brisbane, so the Boy and I are going to make dinosaurs out of milk bottles, drink hot chocolate and perhaps pop into the shops in the afternoon.  I so love the slower pace of Thursdays.

Of course, I am hoping for a bit of down time to make something more me (though don't get me wrong, I love a good milk bottle craft!)  Today I believe it will be Hexies.  I am having so much fun with this, playing with the colours and arranging and rearranging my hexagon flowers.  I love how it is coming together.

More Creative Space-ers over here.

  1. Lovely Hexies! I have a whole bag full that have been sitting for 10+ years waiting to be made into something!
Enjoy the quieter day - watch out for the dinasours.

  10. Be still my beating hexy-gone heart! You're making those (dare I say, less than glam) fabrics POP when they get together.
