It is good to have a bit of routine back, the little Miss actually got to school on time this morning...
A rainy day here in Brisbane, so the Boy and I are going to make dinosaurs out of milk bottles, drink hot chocolate and perhaps pop into the shops in the afternoon. I so love the slower pace of Thursdays.
Of course, I am hoping for a bit of down time to make something more me (though don't get me wrong, I love a good milk bottle craft!) Today I believe it will be Hexies. I am having so much fun with this, playing with the colours and arranging and rearranging my hexagon flowers. I love how it is coming together.

Lovely Hexies! I have a whole bag full that have been sitting for 10+ years waiting to be made into something!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the quieter day - watch out for the dinasours.
Oh my goodness, your work is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteStunning! I'm pushing my limits with a nine-patch; hexies are such stuff as dreams are made of!
ReplyDeleteJust magnificent. I love it so much and I'm totally in awe of your ability to do hexies in general actually :) Rain's stopped now... but for how long? ;) Great space. Kx
ReplyDeleteI've just started making hexies too, but haven't sewn any together yet. I love the colours and fabrics you have used.
ReplyDeleteSo Pretty! Hope you get time with your flower hexies today. Enjoy making things with your boy - they do grow up WAY too quickly!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! It's coming together so well. Are hexies very difficult? I'm thinking of trying it sometime..after getting through the current list of projects ;)

ReplyDeleteBe still my beating hexy-gone heart! You're making those (dare I say, less than glam) fabrics POP when they get together.
