Creative Space

working on a bit of embroidery.  I am not that great at it (as you can clearly see...), but I do love the look of embroidery on cushions, which is what I am working on here at the moment. I guess practice makes perfect.

Hope to get it finished today and will post later in the week.

What are you up to today?  Stuck for inspiration? Then take a look over here for more inspiration than you can poke an embroidery needle at!

  3. Practice does make perfect, and you're well on your way. :D
I love the linen you're stitching on. What does your wording say? I think I can already guess... It says, "Watch 'Lost' because it's the coolest show ever." ...No?

  13. I think it's looking fantastic, really. If you think that you're 'not that great' because you aren't following the lines exactly... well, I have two things to say; the first is that you should see my embroidery attempts... I go off on tangents you see, and end up with a finished product nothing like the original design and the second is that it is all part of the charm of a hand embroidered item, small deviations & IMPROVEMENTS! ;)
