The First Bountifully Giveaway

Today is child free Tuesday - which got off to a late start as I stayed at school to watch the little Miss run her first Cross Country (which was accompanied by some uncharacteristic cheering from this proud mum).

Anyways, should be finishing this bag, so it is ready to be gifted to a certain birthday girl next week, but instead I was thinking - maybe I could have a little bloggy giveaway? My first actually - my what fun!
I have been meaning to post about my home made muesli after I made up a huge batch last week.

Full of wholesome yummy-ness, a mix of toasted oat/nut clusters and raw oats, with dried cranberries, it is not only tasty, but heartily good for you.
Recipe to come soon, but for today, I am giving away a sweet bag full of my Cranberry and Almond muesli, along with some special tea or coffee and maybe something else a little hand made (I am thinking a crochet dishcloth in your choice of colours?).

To enter, leave me a comment,  and you will go into the draw (oh I have always wanted to say that).  Become a follower of my blog and you will receive a bonus entry! Post about my give away on your blog or Facebook and link back to receive another 2 entries.

I will draw the winner this Sunday.
p.s.  I guess I should point out to allergy sufferers that the muesli contains gluten and nuts, sorry!

Please make sure I can contact you if you win, and let me know your colour and beverage choice!
Trace xx

  1. You've got to be in it to win it, as they say! :) But regardless of whether I win or not, can't wait to hear the muesli recipe Tracey!

  5. You clever thing you! Your muesli looks delicious and you can crochet too! I agree with Miriam - can't wait to hear the recipe for the muesli. Hope you had a lovely child-free tuesday. I have pre-school day tomorrow - one less child is as good as it gets for me at the moment so I'm soaking it up!

  6. first i must say i love how you write.
I have got to have some of your muesli, so count me in. I too, love Earl Grey tea and i think i would prefer a natural colour dishcloth.

  8. Ooh that looks lovely! I had to comment even though I don't think it would get to me in NZ with customs between our two countries being so strict! Looking forward to the recipe. And yay for child free Tuesdays (mine is Friday).

  10. Oh yay - looks yummy! ... but I don't know that they'd let you send it into WA either. We like to consider ourselves seperate to you guys over there on the right and so have our own set of tough restrictions about what can and can't be brought in. (As I learnt the hard way when I first moved here over ten years ago)

  11. have checked state quarantine regulations, my interstate friends, and the muesli is free from possible disease carrying vectors!

  13. Hi trace - how funny - a competition! I shall enter... but was never one of the 'pass-the-parcel' winners when I was little (and incidently, Noah went to a party and was almost the only boy not to win a little car... is it hereditary?!)
Tea is my pick, and any colour would make me happy :)
I wore your brooch that you made me today - I realised it was perfect with one of my boring maternity jumpers - yay! I'm off to do some sewing and thinking of you :)

  16. Hi Trace,
I'm finished my previous batch of your delicious museli (Stephen didn't get any) and would love some more.

Of course, the ensuing recipe would also be appreciated. Tea for me - as you know.
