Cooking with Grandma

My mum Paula was here for a visit from Brisbane, today. She bought us a dough nut maker, so of course, got busy making Cinnamon dough nuts with the kids.
We had a lovely day. Breakfast below of porridge, raspberry compote and Greek yogurt with brown sugar and flaked almonds. We then went off to Balmain for coffee and a spot of window shopping. I think I have convinced my crafty mother to start her own Etsy store! We got plenty of good ideas from the lovely stores in Balmain. We had a lovely picnic in the park overlooking the harbor.

Here is a picky of the yummy breakie!

  1. Oh yum. I'm coming over to your house for breakfast!
I like the look of your mum's jacket. Did she make it.
Like the tweaking you've done with the blog too. It's fun fiddling around with layout.

  2. mum did make the vest. Underneath all that lovely fabric is a revamped men's business shirt!
