During the recent visit from the crafty mother, I have discovered my quilt cover has a few fatal flaws and will need to be "patched up" at bit before quilting. I am feeling a little despondent about this as I was keen to move on to the next project. So as a pick me up, I am planning on making one of these funky elephants over the weekend.

I have enjoyed reading more about blogging and have read some excellent tips from Meet me at Mikes. Thank you , Pip, for the useful advice and encouragement to give it a go!
