Old Doll, New Trick

On a recent visit to my parents place I rediscovered a box filled with my childhood doll collection.  You see whenever a family member went overseas, they would bring me back a souvenir doll. Such dolls were much better quality back then.  Most of the dolls are, um, well over 30 years old I guess.

This wooden doll was bought by my grandparents from Japan.  I am looking for some interesting ways to display some of the others around my home.

Still here, blogging is sporadic, thanks for sticking around, you are fab!

  1. My father bought me home a doll from Japan when I was young too. You've got me wondering where it is.

  3. Wow, that doll looks so contemporary. I had a relative who also used to bring me dolls from Japan but they weren't at all like yours - and long gone now.
