{the thrifted wardrobe}

lets have a look at this weeks thrifty wardrobe

I mentioned last week that black is pretty much a no-no for
reddish blonds
use must embrace navy and deep purple people!

I love the colours and textiles in this outfit
the suede shoes with the patent trim
the frilly bolero, the silky polyester

now I am not a huge fan of polyester against my skin
so I usually wear an organic cotton cami under this little retro inspired number

blue on blue is fab
as is blue with a bit of green
blue and green should never be seen, I hear you say?

"green loves blue like I love you!"

you can see the cute bunny brooch (bought from a BrisStyle market - )  is my touch of green.

The dark denim skirt is an old favourite
I have been in and out of this skirt for the past 10 years
I think, however, this may be her last winter, but she has served me well
she may end up as a bag one day...
