My Challenge

In my blog travels recently I stumbled upon Dottie Angel.

I love Tif's vintage style and they way she writes.  It is a pleasure to visit and daydream while looking at her lovely images.
For some time I have been trying to make do, not buy new things, avoid the consumer trap.  When I found Tif's Utmost Kind Challenge I knew I wanted to join in.

2 days in, 363 days to go!

  2. She is wonderful that Tif isn't she! Best of luck with the challenge. Does that included children's clothes? I don't think you will have too much trouble though, you seem to have the oppy gene! :)

  3. Good luck! I was going to do it, but I have a problem with undies and socks! I love it when people remake their clothing into something contemporary, not just re wear it. xxNick

  4. I love what Collecting Feathers said. I would have a problem with the undies and socks too. I made some undies for myself and a friend about this time last year and they are so annoying to wear as they fall down and im constantly hitching them up. I guess thats why Tif called it a challenge? Its not meant to be easy.

  5. oh my dears, you think more highly of me than you ought! Sorry to disappoint, but my challenge does NOT include undergarments. Though, I will be sourcing quality ones, made without the help of a sweat shop!

  7. Yay for you. Though undies is definitely where a line should be drawn. The only thing that stops me are the teenage nephews (and nieces). HOW DO YOU TACKLE BIRTHDAY GIFTS FOR THEM AND STILL MANAGE TO STAY TRUE?
