Home Coffee Roasting Trial

So I have finally gotten around to roasting some coffee at home. We purchased some green beans from Ministry Grounds (who supply a lovely decaf blend) and I followed the roasting tips on this great site, using my trusty $13 popcorn popper.

Here are the little green beans in their cute little calico bag


And then voila - the finished product. After a day or two we gave it a try and we were pleasantly satisfied - even my dubious, though encouraging, coffee snob husband :)


Would love to show you a picture of the flat white he made me, but unfortunately it was scoffed down by yours truly before I even thought to grab the camera!
